Equity Lab for Leaders

Equity Lab is a four (4) part series of leadership development labs designed to help organizational leaders develop the skills, strategies and tools necessary to translate equity from aspiration into action. Each participant will gain new tools, mental models, and frameworks to improve their capacity to lead through an equity lens. In addition, individuals and core teams will learn how to develop a ready-to-implement equity blueprint to guide their ongoing efforts to shift internal culture and external social investments towards greater equity.

Phases:

  1. Discovery: initial meeting designed to explore needs, challenges, opportunities and defining the prospective scope of work

  2. Proposal: written proposal and contract sent to client based on flat-fee pricing and agreed upon scope of work.

  3. Contract: electronic execution of contract and payment of engagement fee detailed in Invoice #1, either full or partial as approved.

  4. Kick Off: client engagement onboarding meeting focused on the following topics, goals and activities:

    • Establish clear deadlines

    • Co-develop engagement timeline

    • Revisit mutual expectations and working relationship norms

    • Clarity preferred client points of contacts

    • Review of client portal

    • Reconfirm scope of work and engagement deliverables

    • Develop cadence of relationship management check-in calls or written communications with client contact

  5. Equity Lab: facilitate four (4) Equity Lab leadership development labs, which include the following key activities: 

    • Delivery of participant list in spreadsheet format to include: first name, last name, role/title, organization (as applicable)

    • Calendar virtual working sessions via zoom

    • Payment of Invoice #2 (as applicable)

    • Dissemination of pre-session communications to client contact and participants

    • Dissemination of post-session recap to client contact and participants, including relevant excerpts from reference materials

  6. Recap: Delivery of final recap of Equity Lab, which include the following key activities: 

    • Dissemination of equity blueprint to include insights from anonymized feedback and recommendations on action steps for further work and attention

    • Payment of Invoice #3 (as applicable)

  7. Additional Scope: implementation support regarding any agreed upon additional services that exceed the initial scope of work, which may include:

    • On-going equity and inclusive innovation advisory services for a 6, 9 or 12 month engagement

    • Review, evaluation and feedback on specific project strategy or work product
